Is this release for “support” customers only or will you also release GPL version?
This particular release is only available in the support portal. Any specific questions about GPL would need to be answered by the product team.
And product team answer?
And OSS projects using ExtJS GPL are out again to get a ‘stable’ ExtJS. The license model is really frustrating for OSS projects.
This update includes more than 240 bug fixes for example.
I am interested are those fixes applied to newer versions of ext, Ext JS 6.0.1 and similar?
Best
Ext JS 6.0.2 will include all the applicable bug fixes. This version will be released in just a few weeks.
what about GPL version?
still waiting for GPL…
you and me
Great news, what about the GPL version?
waiting for GPL. too many bugs in 5.1.1.
@All – Sencha’s policy has been to roll out X.x.0, and X.x.1 versions of Sencha Ext JS as GPL downloads, with X.x.1 trailing by some period (typically a quarter). 5.0.1 GPL was already rolled out. We will be rolling out 6.0.1 GPL version within a few weeks form now.
