It’s my pleasure to announce the release of Sencha Ext JS 5.1.2. This version supports the latest browser – Microsoft Edge. You can now deliver your Ext JS 5.1 applications for your customers using Microsoft Edge. Ext JS 5.1.2 also includes more than 240 bug fixes.
In addition to Edge browser support and bug fixes, the following new features were added in Ext JS 5.1.2:
- Public APIs for focusable events (focusenter and focusleave) provide improved Accessibility support
- Sencha Charts derives the baseline styling from the framework theme
- Browser detection for Microsoft Edge (Ext.isEdge and Ext.browser)
- Data Session classes have a method to clone records from a parent to a child
With more than 240 bug fixes, we’ve improved the following components: grids, forms, data, charts, and the core package. Please refer to the release notes for a complete list of fixes. You can also refer to the latest guides and API docs.
As always, we’re grateful to our customers and the Sencha community for the continuous feedback, feature requests, and bug reports. We’re excited to hear how this release improves your Ext JS 5.1 apps. Try it out and share your feedback in the forums.
