Sencha GPL Licensing
Sencha Ext JS & Sencha GXT
Select versions of Sencha Ext JS & Sencha GXT have previously been released under the GPL v3 license, which is an open source license with specific requirements. You are required to release the source code to your applications and license the application under GPL v3. The last of release of Sencha Ext JS under a GPL v3 license was version 7.0.

You can elect to use versions of Ext JS formerly release under the GPL v3 license to develop and distribute applications without paying a fee, provided you comply with GPLv3 license terms:
- You must release your source code for free (see GPL FAQ).
- You must license your application under GPL v3 (see GPL FAQ).
- You cannot release your work on Apple’s App Store.
- If you start with a GPL license, you cannot convert to a commercial license simply by purchasing one.
You cannot include Sencha Ext JS or Sencha GXT in a closed source distribution under this license.
If you choose to pay for a Commercial License, you are not required to disclose your source code. If you would like to purchase a commercial license for Sencha products, visit the webstore or contact Sales.
